This park is right next to our apartment building-just down the street a little way! We love going over for a quick trip to the beach and it is so fun to watch the little kids playing on the beach. It is mostly locals here and alot of families. Not a great place to surf but people do it here anyway. There is a great big grassy area and alot of families have parties there-birthdays, baby showers, etc. You see alot of people getting wedding pictures taken here. The yen is so strong here right now against the dollar that alot of Japanese couples come over to get married, so the majority of people we see on the beach in wedding dresses are Japanese. They wear beautiful white wedding dresses and the men wear tuxedos-some of them wear white , too!
