The Waimea Aboretum collects, grows, and preserves Hawaii's endangered flora. They maintain the lush valley that is the park, there are also a couple cool birds there and you can swim in the pool at the top where the water fall is. We went here on the same afternoon that we went on the Macadamia Nut Tour. It is located mauka from the Waimea Bay just North of Hale'iwa.
