It Looks Like We are Adding two New Girls to our Fam

No, no twins, CJ just got engaged! to his adorable girlfriend Molly. I'm told it will be a long engagement, but I'm sure they will be excited to make it happen and it will come sooner rather than later. Who thought, CJ is going to grow up after all!

Pink It Is...

I wonder how my adorable grandsons will react to a little sister. We are super excited for Anya and Sam. I will be looking for a second job now to buy all those adorable baby girl clothes!

Halfway There...

We get to find out soon what flavor Anya is having. The boys are sooo adorable another boy would be fab! I'm afraid I'll need to take a second job to buy all those gorgeous girl clothes, so, boy or girl, I can't wait for those sweet baby smells. Being a Grandma is the best thing in the world. I hope my boys wait a few years so that we can stretch out the Grandma years for as long as possible.

Rosi and Heather

Los Olivos is an adorable little town right in the middle of the Santa Ynez Valley-lots of wine country, quaint shops and plenty of opportunites for picture taking. Rosi and Heather are fellow bloggers and nurses. I think bloggers first and nurses second! We have a great time together and I think I have them talked into a trip up to Bend, Oregon while Cameron and I are there for our next adventure.

California Dreamin'

We had a wonderful time visiting with our old friends from Henderson, Russell and Paulette.
We did lots of sight seeing-Hearst Castle, the Elephant Seal Rookery, the Old Mission and rose gardens, breakfast at the beach, Stearns Wharf, lunch on State Street, the Art on the Beach and a whole lot more. It was so much fun catching up on Henderson news, family tidbits, etc, etc, etc. Thanks for the good times-Russell and Paulette, it was great to have them here with us, even if it was for just a few days.

Hearst Castle

Our friends, Russ and Paulette Stacy visited us in Santa Barbara and we took a day trip to Hearst Castle.

I've found yet another group of terrific nurses and newfound friends.

Lake Mead

Cameron and I took a hike with our grandsons out at Lake Mead-can't believe how low the water is! It looks like a different lake from when we were kids. Our second date was a trip out to Boulder Beach-it is called that for a good reason! Desert lakes are not the same as the ocean beaches at all, but we always enjoyed ourselves out there anyway. Noah and Isaac love feeding the carp at the marina and we must like it, too-'cuz we keep going back!

We had the opportunity to get together with the Erling Clan when Rachel (one of my nieces) graduated from Nevada State College with a Nursing Degree. These are some of the cousins.

Hello Everybodeeeee

This is Shoreline Park in Beautiful Santa Barbara . Behind me is a tall cllif that drops down to the ocean. There are a bazillion squirrels at this park and Cameron took this shot hoping that he could catch one of them jumping up on the table next to me-they are very daring little critters.
