We're super thrilled to have our new grand daughter here-safe and sound. She was born on October 17, 2008 at 5:19 PM, 6 pounds, 1 ounce, 18 1/2 inches, born at 36 weeks and 3 days. Cute as a bug.

Metolius River

I know these pics are way late but there was one more beautiful area of Central Oregon to share. The head of the Metolius river bubbles up out of nowhere (really out of a spring in the ground). Along that river is a fun fish hatchery. This is all near the town of Sisters. It is an adorable town, totally worth the side trip if you ae in the area. We didn't have enough time to explore all there was to see in this area of our great country and I miss all my new found friends there, as well. Can't wait to go back...
