More Wedding Stuff

I am at work so there will be no pictures posted with this Post. But I haven't posted in so long, I thought I'd better make an effort.

The wedding menu and recipes are all set-down to the pink punch with limes. I'm a little unsure of it all coming together at the end, but I have 2 sisters and 4 sisters-in-law that have pledged their support in the kitchen and I have already gotten some great advice!

I have a few more dilemmas-how to separate the hor duerv trays so that I can stack them in the kitchen fridge during the wedding? What to serve shrimp on so that it will stay cold and still look elegant? Does anyone have 3 sets of pretty salad tongs? And 2 big pretty spoons? How do you spell hor duerves? I also need a great big salad bowl to serve the grapes with the frosting on them and my mother-in-law is holding out the recipe on me...Are you out of town?

Everything is cold-so it will be a nice summery menu-4 salads-broccoli, spring mix w/ raspberry dressing, pasta, & chicken caeser. Next will be veggie trays, anti-pasto trays, shrimp, strawberries with chocolate, wedding grapes, crackers and cheese, and deviled eggs. I'll be up all night fixing those little devils!!! I hope that is enough food and enough of a variety so everyone can find something delicious to eat.

I have my dress, but no jewelry or shoes-oops! Better get on that. Anya and I are going to order the flowers on Friday. Molly's Grandma and Aunt are going to put them together at my Mom and Dad's house.

The menu for the rehearsal dinner is very casual-pulled pork sandwiches, chili, potato salad, watermelon, soda, wine and beer. Hope everyone comes or I'll have lots of leftovers.

Hopefully, everyone else is dressing themselves because I can't get myself dressed quite yet. I am freezing the concentrate for the punch, and the pasta is ready (even with dressing on it) and the directions are ready to go. The salame is cut, the shrimpp is in the freezer, the cocktail sauce is ready with the olives, pickles, and peperoncinis in the spare bedroom.

I probably won't post again until after the wedding-the grandchildren and my best friend, Cameron are helping me keep it together and remember what really is important in life.
