Las Vegas Snow

We enjoyed a little snow on Sam's Birthday-December 17, 2008, it was the most snow that the Las Vegas Valley had had in 30 years! I remember that last snow-I was in high school. I don't remember a snow day, though... It was beautiful, wish we got snow every year. There was a little snow two years ago and it was gone by the next day. Today is the 19th and there is still snow on our front yard-wonder if it will hold out until the 25th for a white Christmas?

A December Goose Hunt

Cameron and my Dad went up to North Dakota for a goose hunt in early December. They stayed with cousins Chuck and Tina and appreciated their kind hospitality. Any body have any good goose recipes?

Grandma's Sweet Baby Girl

Isn't she a sweet heart? Love that smile, she smells sooo good, and is as soft as she could be. I'm sure she is tired of my constant kisses. Where did she get those great big eyes? We aren't sure what color they will turn out to be, I'm thinking big brown ones like her Mommy, but they are still a little blue. I'll keep you posted.

Redrock

I was totally faking in this picture but we did some great rocking jumping on this hike-no major slips or falls, though! It was a beautiful day and such great company. Cameron and CJ went close to this same area near Redrock for CJ's sheep hunt. We only saw a handful of other hikers and enjoyed a private picnic and gorgeous scenery in Brownstone Basin. We started in Calico Basin, just beyond the Redrock Scenic Drive Loop.

Anya's Birthday
