This picturesque valley is the perfect place for the Byodo-In Temple. The temple was established to commemorate the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii. It was built entirely without nails. The Buddha is thought to be the largest figure carved since ancient times. The three ton brass bell was cast in Osaka, Japan. The gift shop has beautiful ribbon leis and lots of other fun souvenirs.
