This is from a short hike off the Cascades Lakes National Scenic Byway. We thought we'd check out this scenic byway since it is in the top ten in the nation, but we only made it on two hikes because there is so much to see and do along the 66 mile drive. The first Mountain is Mount Bachelor-apparently great skiing up there during the winter-and the other mountain is Broken Top-not to be confused with Broke Back-the lake is Sparks Lake-lots of fishing, canoeing and picnicking going on at this lake.
